Brackett fails to qualify for truck race

INDIANAPOLIS — Dale Brackett of strong failed to qualify for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series AAA Insurance 200 at O’Reilly Raceway Park on Friday afternoon.

Brackett finished with a qualifying speed of 100.689 mph and was 37th after qualifying. The top 35 qualifiers made it into the race, as did Ryan Rust, who got in on owner points.

Timothy Peters won the pole on the .686 mile track with a qualifying speed of 109.653.
