GIRLS BASKETBALL: Madison runs to win over Carrabec

NORTH ANSON — Madison jumped out to a 22-6 first-quarter lead en route to a 59-27 win against Carrabec in Mountain Valley Conference girls basketball action Monday.

Sam Bruce led the Bulldogs with 15 points while Cristie Vicneire and Bronte Elias scored 10 points each.

Macy Welch led the Cobras with eight points. Madison is 6-2, Carraebc is 4-5.
