HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL ROUNDUP: Hapworth lifts Raiders by Bulldogs

MADISON — Dylan Hapworth rushed for 143 yards and two touchdowns as the Winslow football team earned an Eastern C win over Madison, 47-13 on Friday night.

Paul Dawe led Madison with 115 yards on the ground and two touchdowns while Derek LeBlanc caught six passes for 81 yards. Quarterback Chase Malloy threw for 107 yards.

Winslow is 5-0, Madison is 0-5.

Hampden 21, Lawrence 13: Isaiah Olson and Matt Martin combined for 236 ryshing yards to lead the Broncos to the Pine Tree Conference win in Hampden. Olson rushed for 120 yards and Martin for 116 as Hampden controlled the clock.

Ethan Powers led the Bulldogs with 65 yards on 23 caries and a touchdown while quarterback James Leathers completed a 40-yard scoring pass to Seth Powers.

Hampden is 4-1, Lawrence is 2-3.

OOB 22, Oak Hill 21:
Tyler Scott had two interceptions in the red zone, including one in the end zone to end the game, as the Seagulls beat the Raiders in Old Orchard Beach.

OOB took a 22-7 lead with three straight touchdowns from the second quarter to the third quarter. Joe Gildard caught a 45-yard TD pass from Bryan Roberts and returned an interception 52 yards for a score in the second quarter. Then Scott caught a 15-yard pass from Roberts in the third quarter.

Oak Hill took a 7-0 lead on a 14-yard run by Kyle Flaherty in the first quarter. Kyle Tervo caught a 21-yard TD pass from Parker Asselin in the third quarter and Asselin scored on a 12-yard run in the fourth quarter, but the Raiders rally fell short.

Maranacook 47, Boothbay 0:
The Black Bears rushed for 402 yards on their way to the Class C Campbell Conference win in Readfield.

Chris Robinson led Maranacook with 165 rushing yards and two touchdowns while quarterback Kyle Morand scored three times and ran for 45 yards.

Jake Gibson added 70 yards rushing while Zach Lacasse added a score and Simoin Davis rushed for 65 yards.

Nose tackle Josh Murphy recorded seven tackles while linebacker Zach Besstte made eight. Both teams are 3-2.
