NEWPORT — Taylor Shaw scored 18 points as the Nokomis girls basketball team beat Mt. View 87-31 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B game Tuesday.

Traci Carson added 16 points, Anna Mackenzie had 14 and Kelsie Richards had 10 for Nokomis (12-2).

Janelle Thornley had 13 points for Mt. View (2-12).

Richmond 57, Valley 15: Jamie Plummer scored 20 points as the Bobcats beat the Cavaliers in an East/West Conference game in Bingham.

Payton Johnson and Ciarra Lancaster each chipped in nine points for Richmond (12-2).
Valley falls to 5-10.

Rangeley 57, Pine Tree Academy 24: Tori Letarte scored a game-high 22 points and had five steals to lead the Lakers to a East/West Conference win over the Breakers in Freeport.

Abby Abbott and Blayke Morin each had a double-double for Rangeley (13-1). Abbott scored 13 points and had 14 rebounds while Morin had 13 points and 13 rebounds.

Beckie McGuire led Pine Tree (1-12) with 10 points.

Oceanside 57, Winslow 48: Kennadi Grover and Hannah Plourde each scored 16 points as the Mariners beat the Black Raiders in a KVAC B game.

Brooke Dugan added 14 points for Oceanside (14-1).

Devin Fitzgibbons had 15 points and Erica Bertolaccini had 13 for Winslow (6-9).

Madison 62, Telstar 11: Samantha Bruce scored 21 points as the Bulldogs cruised to the MVC win in Madison.

Madison (13-3) held Telstar  (0-15) to two points in the second half. Bronte Elias scored 12 points and grabbed nine rebounds for Madison, while Cristie Vicneire added four assists.

Lawrence 53, Hampden 40: Freshman Nia Irving scored 27 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead the Bulldogs to the KVAC Class A win in Hampden. Lawrence is 11-4, Hampden is 2-13.

Belfast 47, MCI 41: Kristina Lapham had 18 points as the Lions beat the Huskies in a KVAC B game in Pittsfield.

Lexi Nelligan added 13 points for Belfast (10-4).

Ashley Alton had 13 points for MCI (0-15).

Edward Little 65, Erskine Academy 29:
Kory Norcroft scored 12 points to lead the Red Eddies to a KVAC A win over the Eagles in South China.

Emily Jacques added 10 points for Edward Little (12-3).

Erskine (0-15) was led by Bridget Humphrey with 12 points.
