SKOWHEGAN — Paige Belanger had 16 points as the Lawrence girls basketball team beat Skowhegan 69-42 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A game Tuesday night.

Brianna Soucy added 13 points for Lawrence (7-1) while Dominique Lewis had 12 and Nia Irving 10.

Skowhegan (6-3) was led by Alanna Ackerson with 17 points, including five 3-pointers and Morgan Buker with 11 points.

RANGELEY 71, KENTS HILL 32: Taylor Esty had 24 points, eight rebounds and six steals as the Lakers beat the Huskies in an East/West Conference game in Kents Hill.

Seve Deery-DeRaps added 16 points for Rangeley (7-0).

Sarah Grenier had 19 points for Kents Hill (3-1).

Gardiner 72, Erskine 41: Rachel Quirion scored 14 points to lead the host Tigers to the KVAC B win.

Freshman Lauren Chadwick had eight points and five assists for Gardiner (5-3) while Morgan Carver added 10 points and four steals. Abby Dunn also had 10 points.

Erskine (1-6) was led by Mallory Chamberlain with eight points and Mia Taylor with six.

FOREST HILLS 67, GREENVILLE 16: Kori Coro had 23 points as the Tigers cruised to an East/West Conference win over the Lakers in Jackman.

Dana McNally added 11 points and Keely Taylor 10 for Forest Hills (8-0).

Greenville is now 2-5.

Mt. Blue 48, Lewiston 47: Addie Brinkman had 18 points and seven rebounds to lead the Cougars to the KVAC A win in Lewiston.

Miranda Nicely added 14 points and nine rebounds for Mt. Blue (5-4).

Lewiston (2-7) was led by Janessa Talarico with 13 points.

MARANACOOK 41, MCI 26: Christine Miller scored 18 points, including nine in a pivotal second quarter to lead the Black Bears to the KVAC Class B win in Pittsfield. Liz DiAngleo added 10 points for Maranacook (6-3) which held a 22-1 advantage from the free throw line. Cassie Miller scored 11 points for MCI (1-7).

Carrabec 65, Boothbay 38: Emma Pluntke had 14 points and eight rebounds to lead the Cobras to the Mountain Valley Conference win in North Anson.

Mickayla Willette added nine points and five steals for Carrabec (6-2) while Macy Welch scored a team-high 21 points.

Boothbay (4-4) was led by Morgan Crocker with a game-high 24 points.

Messalonskee 44, Mt. Ararat 35: Sophia Holmes scored 18 points to lead Messalonskee to the KVAC A win in Oakland.

Mikayla Turner added 11 points for Messalonskee (7-2) while Kelsey Mayo had 10 rebounds to go along with four points.

Mt. Ararat (0-9) was led by Lindsey Cornelison with 18 points.

Valley 40, Hyde 22: Teagan Laweryson scored 17 points and made four 3-pointers to lead the Cavaliers to the Class D win in Bath.

Kyla White added 11 points for Valley (4-4). Hyde is now 2-4.

Nokomis 61, Belfast 15: Anna MacKenzie scored 18 points as the Warriors handled the Lions in Newport.

Taylor Shaw chipped in with 10 points, and Kelsie Richards and Kylie Richards each added seven points for Nokomis (9-0). Sidney Moore scored six.

Mariah Sturgis had five points for Belfast (0-6).

ST. DOMINIC 46, MADISON 41, 2OT: Callie Greco had 13 points as the Saints beat the Bulldogs in an MVC game in Auburn.

Faith Grady added 11 points and Kelly Pomerleau had 10 for St. Dom’s (8-1).

Kirsten Wood had 13 points, 12 rebounds and five assists for the Bulldogs (5-3). Cristie Vicneire added 12 points.
