WATERVILLE — Maranacook Community School graduate Ben Johnson had 25 points and 14 rebounds as the University of Maine at Farmington men’s basketball team beat Thomas College 82-67 in a North Atlantic Conference game Tuesday.

Andrew Dickey added 21 points and 15 rebounds for UMF, which snapped a three-game losing streak and improves to 5-5, 3-1 in the conference.

Eric Westbrooks had 18 points, while Skowhegan graduate Levi Barnes added 15 points for Thomas (2-7, 2-2 in the conference). Garen Manzo also had 15 points for Thomas.

Women’s basketball

UM-Farmington 81, Thomas 46: Lindsay Ranquist finished with a game-high 22 points as the Beavers beat the Terriers in a NAC game in Waterville.

Kennadi Groer and Alya Allen added 17 and 16 points, respectively, for UMF (4-7, 3-1 in the conference).

Elizabeth Goodall and Lexi Merrifield each had 10 points for Thomas (2-7, 2-2 in the conference).
