WINSLOW — Winslow scored a pair of first half goals on its way to a 2-0 win over rival Waterville in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B game Tuesday.
Jimmy Fowler scored from Ben Smith 17 minutes into the first half for Winslow (7-0-1). Taylor Roy made it 2-0 with an assist from Alex Berard seven minutes later.
Berard had eight saves for Winslow, while Zach Disch had six saves for Waterville (4-3-1).
Maranacook 4, MCI 0: Four different players scored to lead the Black Bears in Pittsfield.
Alex Tooth, Alec Daigle and Nick Lacasse each scored goals in the first half nefore Kody Solmitz capped the scoring with a goal in the second half.
Brad Worcester had 12 saves for Maranacook (9-0-0). Chuck Moriaty had 12 saves for the Huskies (1-7-0).
Nokomis 2, Leavitt 1: Calvin Warren and Cjrisitan Brown scored first half gaols to lift the Warriors to the KVAC Class B win in Newport. Brown also assisted on Warren’s goal. Riley Burges scored for Leavitt. Nate Biuck made 16 saves for Nokomis (2-6-0) while Carter Jordan made 10 for Leavitt (1-6-12).
Hampden 1, Messalonskee 0: Tristen Gardner’s goal early in the second half lifted the Broncos to the KVAC Class A win in Oakland. Isaiah Bess made five saves in goal for Hampden (6-1-0) while Jonah Webb made 14 stops for Messalonskee (3-4-1).
Erskine 2, Gardiner 1: Sam Wilkinson and Ryan Rodrigue scored second-half goals to lead the Eagles to the KVAC Class B win in South China.
Jared Gartley had four saves to earn the win for the Eagles (7-1-0).
Jacob Folsom scored an unassisted goal to pace the Tigers (2-6-1).
Camden Hills 3, Mt. View 0: Grayson Szumillas and Joshia Sinkho scored second half goals as the Windjammers beat the Mustangs in Rockport.
Mikey Hustus had 13 saves for Mt. View, while Marshall Spear had three for Camden Hills.
