MADISON — Kirsten Wood had two goals and two assists as the Madison girls soccer team earned its sixth win of the season, beating Oak Hill 5-1 in a Mountain Valley Conference game Friday.
ayla Bess added two goals and Whitney Lloyd had one for Madison (6-0-1). Cristie Vicneire had two assists and Brooklyn Moore had one. Savanna Kandiko made six saves.
Bree Ivy scored for Oak Hill (3-4-1), while Kelsey Collins had 18 saves.
Mt. Blue 2, Hampden 2, 2OT: Miranda Nicely had the game-tying goal and added an assist as the Cougars tied the host Broncos a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A action.
Lauren Guppy scored the other goal for Mt. Blue (3-3-1). Thia Bridges made 19 saves.
Erin Jeter and Brianna Cota each scored unassisted goals for Hampden (3-1-2). Sam Bowler stopped eight shots.
Carrabec 3, Winthrop 0: Brooklynne Lewis had a goal and an assist to lead the Cobras to an MVC win over the Ramblers in North Anson.
Paige Chadbourne and Kaitlin Lacroix each added goals for Carrabec (2-4-1). Cobras goalkeeper Macy Welch made three saves.
Winthrop drops to 0-6-1.
Brunswick 5, Skowhegan 1: Lena Martin scored twice as the Dragons beat the Indians in a KVAC A game in Skowhegan.
Julia Champagne, Madeline Cowan and Caley Nicholson also scored for Brunswick (4-3-0). Cowan also had two assists. Haley Murano had three saves.
Alyssa Cobb scored with an assist from Amanda Enos for Skowhegan (0-7-0). Andrea Quirion and Shawna Quimby combined for eight saves.
Vinalhaven 4, Valley 0: Bethany Candage, Maddie Hallowell, Taylor Littlefield and Molly Foisy all scored goals as the Vikings beat the Cavaliers.
Samantha West had eight saves for Valley, while Bailey Wadleigh had two saves for Vinalhaven.
Messalonskee 4, Skowhegan 0: Dylan Burton and Dylan Jones each had a goal and an assist as the Eagles beat the Indians in a KVAC A game in Oakland.
Soren Donisvitch and Eric VanDerKarr also scored for Messalonskee (3-3-1). Ethan Harris added a pair of assists for the Eagles and Jake Smith stopped six shots.
Anthony Paul had 13 saves for Skowhegan (0-6-0).
Lawrence 4, Hampden 1: Julia Lawrence had two goals and McKenna Rogers added two assists as the Bulldogs defeated the Broncos in Hampden on Thursday.
Dominique Lewis and Hallee Parlin also scored for Lawrence (8-1-0). Emily Tozier made four saves.
Chareeda Rustanivibul scored for Hampden (0-7-1).
Skowhegan 5, Oxford Hills 0: Brooke Michonski had two goals and an assist as the Indians beat the Vikings in South Paris on Thursday.
Mikayla Toth, Allison Lancaster and Lauren LeBlanc each added a goal for Skowhegan (9-0-0). Logan LeBlanc added an assist for the Indians, who scored four of their goals in the second half. The Vikings are now 5-4.
Southern Maine Cup: Brad Myers and Tom Murray combined on a 4-under par 67 to lead the University of Southern Maine to the title at the Southern Maine Cup, in Gorham.
USM won the title with 205 points. UNE was second with 217, followed by St. Joseph’s College (226) and UM-Farmington (231).
The tournament featured pairs of golfers playing six holes of best ball, six holes of scramble and six holes of alternate shot.
Simon Rollins and Tom Bearor shot even-par 71 for UMF.
