NEWPORT — Drew Wing scored 17 points as Nokomis earned a bundle of Heal points with a 62-41 victory over Oceanside in Kennebec valley Athletic Conference Class B boys basketball action Friday night.

Oceanside (8-2) was ranked No. 1 in the Eastern B Heal points standings. The Marners’ only previous loss was to Camden Hills, by three points.

Andrew Cartright and Noah Kershner each added 14 points for Nokomis (6-4).

Shea Davenport had 13 points and Sam Meklin 12 for Oceanside.

Messalonskee 51, Oxford Hills 45: Jordan Holmes, Nick Mayo and Jordan Carson all had nine points as the Eagles beat the Vikings in a KVAC A game in Oakland.

Aaron Gagne added eight points for Messalonskee (5-5).

Jake Palmer had 12 points for Oxford Hills (4-6).

MCI 49, Leavitt 41: Kael McCarthy scored 13 points and Price Li added 12 as the Huskies prevailed in Pittsfield.

Doug Bryant chipped in with 11 points for MCI (4-6).

Zach Gouelette paced Leavitt (3-7) with 12 points.

Winslow 75, Belfast 42: Justin Martin had 17 points and 12 rebounds as the Black Raiders cruised to their 12th win of the season, in Belfast.

Nason Laphier added 10 points and seven assists, while Trevor Lovely had 14 points for Winslow (8-2).

Ryan Rice had 19 points for Belfast (5-4).

Waterville 64, Morse 43: Josh Gormley had 11 points, seven steals and seven assists as the Purple Panthers beat the Shipbuilders in a KVAC B game in Bath.

Justin Jabar added 14 points and Chris Hale 12 for Waterville (5-5). John-Peter Michaud had six points and eight rebounds.

Matt Munster had eight points for Morse (4-6).

Cony 56, Skowhegan 36:
Mitch Bonenfant scored a game-high 15 points and Kyle Elvin added 14 points to lead the Rams to a KVAC A win over the Indians in Skowhegan.

Cony (4-6) had the advantage on the boards, grabbing 18 offensive rebounds.

Sam Wheeler had nine points for Skowhegan (1-9).

Lewiston 70, Mt. Blue 30: Josh Thomas had 12 points as the Blue Devils beat the Cougars in a KVAC A game in Farmington.

Brad Durrell and Charlie Martin each had seven points for Mt. Blue (0-9).

Isaiah Harris and Steven Paytrice added nine each for Lewiston (5-5).

Girls basketball

Madison 59. Lisbon 29: Bronte Elias scored a game-high 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the Bulldogs to the MVC win at Madison.

Kristen Wood scored 12 points and Emily McKenney added eight for Madison (8-2).

Denise Thomas scored 13 points to pace Lisbon (2-7).

Edward Little 63, Lawrence 56: Ashlee Arnold scored a game-high 28 points to go over 1,000 for her career to lead the Red Eddies in a KVAC A game in Auburn.

Kory Norcross scored 14 points and Tiana Harriman added 10 to pace EL (7-2).

Nia Irving led Lawrence with 17 points while Dominique Lewis added 13.

Carrabec 46, Wiscasset 33: Emma Pluntke had eight points and seven rebounds as the Cobras won in Wiscasset.

Brooklynne Lewis added eight points for Carrabec (5-5).

Alecia Faulkingham had eight points for Wiscasset (2-9).

Belfast 40, Winslow 26: Katrina Latham and Lexi Nelligan each had 14 points as the Lions beat the Black Raiders in a KVAC B game in Winslow.

Sarah Wildes and Megan Richards each had six points for Winslow (3-7).

Belfast fell to 7-2.

Bangor 65, Erskine 35: Denae Johnson scored a game-high 18 points and Jordan Seekins added 13 to lead the Rams to the KVAC A victory in South China.

Cordella Stewart scored eight points to pace Bangor (7-3) as well.

Bridget Humphrey scored 10 points to pace Erskine (0-10).

Morse 33, Waterville 31:
Colleen O’Donnell scored a game-high 15 points, but it wasn’t enough for the Purple Panthers, who dropped a KVAC B contest to the Shipbuilders in Waterville.

Morse (2-8) was led offensively by Megan Hixon, who had 10 points, including 2 3-pointers.

Adding to the offensive output for Waterville (2-8) was Fotini Shanos, who had seven points.

Oxford Hills 52, Messalonskee 27:
Crystal West scored 13 points to lead the Vikings to the KVAC A win in South Paris.

Alex Rowe and Mikayla Morin added eight points apiece for Oxford Hills (7-3).

Kelsey Mayo led the Eagles (5-5) with eight points.

Oceanside 57, Nokomis 45
: Kennadi Grover scored her 1,000th career point as the Mariners handed the Warriors their first loss of the season, in Rockland.

Taylor Shaw scored 15 points for Nokomis (9-1). Anna MacKenzie added 13 and Traci Carson had 10. Oceanside is 9-1.

Leavitt 58, MCI 34: Bri DeGone had 10 points as the Hornets beat the Huskies in a KVAC B game in Turner.

Ashley Alton had nine points for MCI (0-10).
