HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS LACROSSE: Messalonskee cruises, improves to 3-0

BRUNSWICK -- Allyson Fischang and Kristy Bernatchez each had four goals as the Messalonskee girls lacrosse team beat Brunswick 16-1 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A game Saturday.

Sydney Gagne and Kristen Kern each had three goals and Fischang added three assists for Messalonskee (3-0-0). Mikayla Turner and Sarah Brazz both had a goal each. Izzy Skinner earned the win with three saves.

Eliza Brooks had the goal and Emmaleigh Aschbrenner had five saves for Brunswick (1-3-0).
