TURNER — Trevor Lovely scored a game-high 31 points and the Winslow High School boys basketball team cruised to a 70-52 win over Leavitt in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B game Tuesday night.

Lovely added four assists and four steals for Winslow (1-1). Austin Ireland chipped in 15 points, 14 rebounds and three blocks.

Andrew Middleton led Leavitt (1-1) with 19 points.

Lewiston 60, Erskine 54: The host Blue Devils pulled away in the second quarter en route to the KVAC Class A win.

Isiah Harris led Lewiston (1-1) with 13 points while Donne Agassou added 11.

For Erskine (0-2), Nathanial Trask scored 17 points and Devin Duncan 16.

Lawrence 59, Brunswick 49: Xavier Lewis scored 23 points and Spencer Carey added 17 to lead the Bulldogs to the KVAC A victory in Brunswick. Nick Noiles added nine points for Lawrence (2-0), which led just 13-9 after the first quarter before it pulled away for good in the second.

Ryan Black and Blake Gordon each scored 11 points to pace Brunswick (1-1).

Bangor 67, Messalonskee 57, OT: The Rams outscored the Eagles 12-2 in overtime on their way to a KVAC A win in Oakland.

Sean Tocci led Bangor (1-1) with 17 points, including five 3-pointers. Alex Campbell chipped in with 13.

Jordan Holmes scored 19 points and Elijah Steele 12 for Messalonskee (1-1).

Greenville 61, Valley 55: Henry Hersey scored 26 points and Howie Stone added 16 to lead Greenville to the Western D victory in Bingham.

Trevor Richards added seven points for Greenville (2-0). Carrington Miller scored 24 points and Josh West added 16 for Valley (1-1).

Forest Hills 71, Seacoast Christian 32: Derick Ouellette had 11 points and 14 rebounds as the Tigers took the Class D win at the Augusta Civic Center.

Forest Hills (3-0) led 32-11 after one quarter. Evan Worster scored a game-high 20 points for the Tigers. Matt Turner had 11 points and eight steals, and Brandon Ouellette had 13 points.

Silas Thompson led Seacoast Christian (1-1) with nine points.

Girls basketball

Skowhegan 55, Hampden 40: Morgan Buker finished with 11 points and eight rebounds to lead the Indians to the KVAC A victory in Skowhegan.

Cheyenne Malloy had 11 points and six assists for Skowhegan (1-1) as well. Taylor Johnson had nine points and five assists.

Erica Mahaney scored 14 points to pace the Broncos (0-2).

Bangor 57, Messalonskee 33: Denae Johnson scored a game-high 18 points to lead the Rams to a KVAC A win over the Eagles in Bangor.

The Rams (2-0) also received offensive help from Cordelia Stewart, who had 13 points and Jordan Seekins, who had 10 points.

Messalonskee (1-1) was led by Mikayla White and Kelsey Mayo, who each scored 10 points.

Madison 63, Mountain Valley 40: Bronte Elias had a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Bulldogs to the MVC win in Madison.

Sam Bruce added 12 points and seven rebounds for Madison (2-0), which led 22-1 after the first quarter.

Alex Jarvais and Emily McKenney each scored eight points as well.

Darby Brown scored 11 points to pace Mountain Valley (1-1).

Leavitt 47, Winslow 23: Kristen Anderson scored 19 points and Mariah Treadwell added nine to lead the Hornets to the KVAC B win in WInslow.

Meagan Down scored eight points for Leavitt (2-0) as well.

Alyssa Wood scored seven points to lead the Raiders (0-2).

Nokomis 52, Waterville 21: Anna Mackenzie scored 14 points as the Warriors cruised to a KVAC B w in in Newport.

Lindsay Whitney added 11 points for Nokomis, which improves to 2-0.

Jenna Gagnon scored 12 points for Waterville (0-2).

Forest Hills 45, Seacoast Christian 11: Anna Carrier scored a game-high 15 points and Keely Taylor added 12 as the Tigers rolled to a win at the Augusta Civic Center.

Kori Coro added eight points for Forest Hills (3-0). Dana McNally had 11 assists.

Valley 37, Greenville 35: Teagan Laweryson scored 12 points and Sydney Vincent made a clutch free throw in the final minute to lift Valley in Bingham.

Vincent, who scored seven points, snapped a 35-35 tie when she made a free throw with 43 seconds left in regulation

Michaella Gilbert scored a game-high 17 points for Greenville (0-2).

Spruce Mtn. 58, Carrabec 27: Nicole Hamblin scored 17 points and Kailee Newcomb added nine to lead Spruce Mountain to the MVC win in Jay.

Vanese Barnes contributed with six points and four steals for Spruce Mountain (2-0) as well.

Kate Stevens and Jerzee Rugh each scored five points to lead Carrabec (0-2).

Mt. Abram 61, Telstar 35: Mikayla Luce scored a game-high 21 points to give the Roadrunners a Mountain Valley Conferene win over the Rebels in Salem.

Adding to Mt. Abram’s (1-1) offensive output was Miranda Smith, who had 17 points, as well as Jill Howard, who had 12 points.

Telstar (0-2) was led offensively by Casey Blaszczak with eight points.

Mt. View 44, MCI 38: Janelle Thornley scored 16 points, as the Mutangs beat the Huskies in Pittsfield.

Brooke Tripp added 11 points for Mt. View (1-1), which led by 10 points after the first quarter.

Ashley Alton led MCI (0-2) with 14 points.

Brewer 55, Mt. Blue 52: Lindsay Houp hit a 3-pointer from 30 feet as the buzzer sounded to lift the host Witches to the KVAC Class A win. Houp led Brewer with 17 points while Alex Grindall and Maddy Bailey each scored 13. Miranda Nicley paced Mt. Blue with 17 points while teammate Gabby Foy scored 13. Both teams are 1-1.

College men

USM 69, UMF 52: Alex Kee scored 17 points to lead the University of Southern Maine to the non-conference win over host University of Maine at Farmington. Ben Johnson led UMF (7-2) with 19 points and seven rebounds while teammate Andrew Dickey added 15 points. Brandon Tomah added 16 points for USM (6-2) while Sean Bergeron scored 10 and Mike Poulin had seven assists.
