STAFF REPORT
SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- Naana Ankoma-Mensa had 11 points and eight rebounds as the Bryant women's basketball team held on to beat the University of Maine 44-40 on Monday.
Ankoma-Mensa also had with two steals, a block and an assist.
Breanna Rucker scored eight points and grabbed eight rebounds for Bryant (4-4) as well.
Milica Mitrovic scored 12 points to lead Maine (1-9).
Women's basketball
UM-Augusta 59, Unity 34: In Augusta, Arreonte Lee scored 29 points, grabbed seven rebounds, made eight steals and blocked three shots to lead the Moose to the Yankee Small College Conference win.
Maegan Cloutier added 11 points for the winners while Allyssa marson had five steals, six assists and five rebounds. UMA is 7-5, Unity is 0-8.
